In 2021 we did some significant progress in the development of our UAS SilentOne by implementing the new VTOL method. Numerous test flights were performed to test the aerodynamics of the UAS and the performance of the flight controller and the corresponding software. Due to the complex stabilization during transition from hover to cruise and back again, adaptions were necessary for a safe performance of the UAS. Although a lot of progress has been achieved, some additional test flights are necessary in 2022 to finish the development of the flight controller.
